Vegetable salads are the most diverse of all types of salads, thanks to the huge number of ingredients. For their preparation, both fresh or raw vegetables and boiled, salted, pickled and even baked vegetables are used. Often, rice, cereals, pasta, as well as cheese and eggs, and, of course, greens are added to vegetable salads. Vegetable salads are usually served as a side dish for meat, but very often as an independent dish. Vegetable salads are also very healthy – they contain many vitamins, microelements and minerals.
